Soooo worth the fuss: lip scrub

I’ve been meaning to try out a lip scrub recipe. I’ve never used one and I often wondered what the fuss was. Now I KNOW!

Here’s the recipe I used:
4cubes of sugar {crushed, makes about a tablespoon and a little}
1teaspoon dark unsweetened cocoa powder
1tablespoon neem-infused olive oil {you can use regular olive oil, coconut oil, sweet almond oil…}
1drop of Peppermint essential oil {optional, but it smells AMAZING with the rich cocoa fragrance…especially if you like chocolate mints}

To use, just scoop a little out and rub directly on your lips in a circular motion for about 1 minute. Then wipe off for the softest, smoothest lips ever. Apply lip balm and feel it sink in. I used it around the outer rim of my lips as well just to make sure I got all the dead skin sloughed off 😀

I would use this once a week for starters, but I know of people who use it up to three times a week because of the weather conditions where they live.

Just a word of caution…this scrub smells and tastes so good, you might be tempted to eat it!!!
