I finally did it… 😁

Its been many nights and many days since I was here. Thanks to the three people who kept reminding me of the treasure I abandoned here…I appreciate you ladies.

So, my soapmaking journey has mainly been about bar soaps but every now again someone will ask me about liquid soap…specifically for something a certain American Dr has been selling for over 60 years 😉.

Well, after 4 years of searching for a specific ingredient I could trust and trying out a couple of batches I can now confidently add liquid soap to our menu 🎉🎉🎉

Introducing the Nini Junior Moisturising Castile Soap for babies and sensitive adults.

It’s a simple clean formula with no unnecessary ingredients.

For the sharp eyed ones among you 😁😁😁 you have also picked up on something significant. Nini Junior happened without much fanfare in december 2016 because Nini Body Treats has a lot going on and i didnt want the products in this babies-and-sensitive-adults range to get lost.

So if you are on Instagram kindly show us some 💕💕💕 @ninijunior.ng

Thank you for reading this far and I will be back soon.

Soapy Party Favours

Last weekend, we celebrated my MiL’s birthday and it didn’t take long to decide what to gift as party favours on behalf of the grandkids 😀

These little soldiers are liquid hand soap (200mL), coloured to match the party colour theme which was coral. I know, the soap looks more orange than coral but its not too much of a stretch is it?.

Fabric swatch of what we girls wore ❤

My cousin made the soap (I’m yet to venture into the world of liquid soap making although I’m now in possession of everything I need to make a Castile soap like a famous Dr’s brand on the market 😉 ) but I blended the fragrance – tangy orange on a bed of yummy vanilla.

Here’s wishing ‘mumsie’ many happy returns of her day in strength and joy!

Liquid ABS

My little girl has been complaining of itchy skin for a while and I finally decided to change her soap today.

African black soap is my go-to traditional remedy for most skin complaints but I wanted to make it more nourishing for my little treasure so I added honey {a great humectant} to dissolved crumbly black soap.

I left hers unscented but couldn’t resist saving myself a portion of the soap to which I added orange essential oil :D. It’s one of my all time favorite bath fragrance.

What I like about this soap is that it’s ready to use immediately and it can be customized almost endlessly. And it’s great for everyone – from newborns to crusty ol people 😀
